We are seeking a highly motivated Fabrication Foreman to oversee our busy fabrication and machining workshop based in Biloela Queensland. This is a full time, hands-on position and we are seeking a qualified Boilermaker to lead our close knit team. Suitable remuneration will be given dependant upon ability.

Reporting to our Manager, you will be responsible for:

• The daily job management of our Boilermakers (who undertake general fabrication work).
• Training and supervision of apprentice Boilermakers.
• Providing technical advice and support to trade persons.
• Quality control.

The position will require that you:

• Be a trade qualified Boilermaker with a minimum of 5 years hands-on supervisory experience.
• Have a broad knowledge of sheet metal and boilermaking.
• Experience with mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel and bisalloy steel.
• Have the ability to read and work from drawings.
• Have excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Take pride in your attention to detail.
• Ability to use CAD would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of 5S would be an advantage.
